Overview

Kantata has various fields for hours and budget estimates at the task- and resource-level: task estimated hours, resource estimated hours, task budget, and task estimated fees. This recipe aligns task-level data with resourcing changes, helping you ensure data integrity.

When resource estimated hours are updated, this recipe does the following:

• Updates the task’s estimated hours field with the total resource estimated hours.
• Updates the task budget field with the result of multiplying resource estimated hours by bill rates (i.e. the estimated fees).

After Importing the Recipe

This recipe does not require you to configure any project properties.

After importing, you can select Start recipe from the Assets list or Recipe Details page to allow the recipe to activate when a trigger event occurs.
