Overview
Expand your Kantata experience and maximize your team’s productivity by integrating the applications you already use into Kantata OX. With Kantata Integrations, you eliminate the need to switch back and forth between separate applications and can easily automate your business processes with any amount of granularity you want.
Once an application is connected to your Kantata OX account, you can utilize the preconfigured and custom workflows in order to automate your processes. This helps save you time at every stage of your project.
- Integration—A connection between two systems where data is transferred from one to the other.
- Workflow—A logic-based series of actions designed to automatically perform a designed behavior in a specific order. Useful for automating tasks, sending notifications or enforcing business rules and requirements.
- Trigger—The first step of a workflow that initiates the workflow based on defined criteria.
- Action—Any workflow step that occurs after the trigger that completes the goal the workflow is designed to achieve. These can include creating or updating objects, calculations, conditions, etc.
Platforms and Integrations
Kantata’s integrations consist of two separate platforms with various integrations and capabilities available for each one:
These two platforms offer different project management solutions depending on what your team and project needs are.
In addition to Kantata Connect and M-Bridge, there are integrations available from within Kantata OX—QuickBooks and Google Workspace—that you can utilize as well as our separate Salesforce integration, which is managed within your Salesforce environment.

Kantata Integrations Platforms
Kantata Connect

Kantata Connect is our most recent integration and workflow platform that is currently in the first phase of its release. As Kantata Connect develops over the next few months, you will be able to create custom workflows on your own from within the Connect platform and access additional integrations.
Our newest and advanced integration platform, Kantata Connect helps you optimize your business processes with customized workflows and automations as well as the ability to connect third-party applications to your Kantata OX account.
Kantata Connect offers robust integration solutions with both prebuilt and custom workflow options. Our prebuilt workflows are available in the Kantata Connect recipe catalog, which our Professional Services team can set up and fine tune with additional customizations for you. In addition, our team can create custom workflows from the ground up, giving you access to automated processes more tailored to your preferences.

M-Bridge Integrations
M-Bridge Integrations, Kantata’s original integration platform, allows you to synchronize Kantata OX with a variety of other applications so you can continue to work with the tools that you already use and elevate your processes to a new level.
In addition to custom-built connections, M-Bridge offers several prebuilt integrations for some of the most common and popular applications.

Additional Integrations
There are additional integrations that are available outside of Kantata Connect and M-Bridge:

Google Workspace
With the Google Workspace integration, you can access your Google Drive and share files in any project workspace as well as invite anyone from your Google Contacts list into Kantata for collaboration.
You can activate the individual Google Workspace integration in Kantata OX by clicking the User Profile and Settings drop-down menu in the top-right corner and then clicking Google Workspace.

QuickBooks
Synchronize your projects with your accounting software with Kantata’s QuickBooks integration. This integration allows you to manage your projects' tasks, budgets, expenses, and invoices with a single tool.
You can enable QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Desktop by going to Settings > QuickBooks in the left navigation.

Salesforce
The Kantata OX Salesforce integration makes it possible to create successful client engagements from “proposal” to “project delivered” and automate project creation in Kantata.
The integration between Kantata OX and Salesforce is managed in your Salesforce environment. To get started, please reach out to Customer Success.

Integration Tools
Smart Upload Manager
The Smart Upload Manager (SUM) is an external tool created and supported by Kantata that is designed to help automate the import of data from CSV files into Kantata OX. With SUM, you can update project lead functionalities, add or update custom fields across objects, update tasks across multiple projects, and more.
