Overview
M-Bridge—one of Kantata's powerful integrations platforms—allows you to synchronize Kantata OX with other applications so you can continue to work with the tools that you already use outside of Kantata.
Getting Started
To get started with M-Bridge or add a new integration to your account, please contact Customer Success or your Account Executive for configuration and pricing information.
After M-Bridge has been set up for you, you can access it at www.mavenlinkintegrations.com.
Available Integrations
There are several pre-built configurations—or workflows—available that you can access for the following applications:
M-Bridge User Interface
The following sections go over the layout of the M-Bridge platform and the actions you can perform on each page.
Homepage
The M-Bridge homepage displays all the integrations that have been provisioned for your account. Each integration is represented by a tile card and contains a summary of the integration and action buttons. Click the Settings button to open the integration’s Scenarios page.
Scenarios
A scenario is a prebuilt workflow that you can configure for your integration. An integration’s Scenarios page contains all of the current scenarios, your scenarios’ data, and various actions.
In the top portion of the Scenarios page, you can search the scenarios list, import or create a new mapping set, and create a new scenario. You can also start or stop multiple scenarios at the same time by selecting the checkbox to the left of each desired scenario and then selecting an action from the Bulk Actions drop-down on the right side of the page.
Click the Mappings drop-down and select the mapping set you want to configure for this integration. To learn more about the Mappings page, see the Mappings section of this article.
On the lower portion of the page is the Scenarios list where you can view all of the integration’s scenarios and their information.
- Creator—The user who created the scenario.
- Name—The scenario name.
- Type—The scenario type. This will vary depending on which integration it’s for.
- Service—The service being used by the scenario.
- Last Run—The date and time the scenario was last run.
- Status—The scenario’s current status: Active or Inactive.
- Sync—Manually sync—or run—the scenario. This creates a scenario event, which will then appear on the Events page.
Select the arrow next to the Sync button to open the Actions drop-down. From here, you can enable/disable, edit, clone, or delete the scenario.
Mappings
An integration’s mapping page contains all of the mapping sets for that integration as well as several actions, including creating or editing a mapping set, setting a set as the default, and more.
The left side of the page contains the available prebuilt mapping sets. You can click back and forth to see the list of mapping sets that have been configured for each one.
You can edit an existing mapping set by clicking the Edit button or by selecting the drop-down arrow next to the button to open the actions menu. From here, you can clone, export, replace, or delete the mapping set. You also have the option to select that set as the service’s default by clicking Make Default.
On this page, you can import a mapping set or create one by using our prebuilt mappings templates.
If you choose to import a mapping set, you’re redirected to the Import Mapping Set page, where you can specify the set’s Name and Service, and then upload the CSV file that contains the mapping criteria.
Alternatively, you can click the New Mapping Set button and set up your mappings using M-Bridge’s pre-built template.
Events
The Events page displays all of your account’s events—or jobs—that have occurred. The Events list shows all of the pertinent job data, including:
- Source—The previous step that created the event.
- Created Date—The date and time the event occurred.
- Type—The type of event that occurred.
- Status— The event’s current status (Created, Propagated, Queued, Processing, Completed, Failed, or Skipped).
- Payload—The data that was utilized or transferred in this event.
Above the Events list is a series of different filtering options that you can use to narrow down the list. This especially comes in handy during any troubleshooting that may occur.
To the right of each event, you can find the following actions:
- Show—View details of the event.
- Re-emit—Run the event again.
- Delete—Delete the event.
Exceptions
The Exceptions page lists all of the account’s error groups—which are a collection of logs—and the following information to help with troubleshooting:
- Last Occurrence—Date and time the error occurred
- Integration—Which integration was affected.
- Scenario—The scenario that was running when the error occurred.
- Message—The message describing the error.
- Count—The number of occurrences for this error.
- Errors—The error details.
To the right of each exception, you can find the following actions:
- Reemit—Reprocess the event with the same information.
- Dismiss—Remove the log from the Exceptions page.
- Export—Export the Exceptions list for the date and time specified.
Logs
The Logs page displays information related to the processing of data on M-Bridge. This information is similar to the data you can access on the Exceptions page, but on a more granular level, including the following:
- Date—Date the log was created.
- Level—The type—or severity—level of the log.
- Integration—The integration the log was generated from.
- Scenario—The integration scenario the log was generated from.
- Subject Type—The type of subject—or activity—that triggered the log.
- Subject ID—The ID for the subject that triggered the log.
- Title—The log label (or descriptor). The title often contains the error message for the log.
To the right of each log, you can find the following actions:
- Export—Export the filtered Logs page to a CSV file.
- Show—Opens the log details.
- [Subject] button—Opens the subject details. This button name will vary based on the log’s subject type (Event, Mapping Set, Scenario, or Agent).
Support
The Support drop-down offers three resources to help supplement your M-Bridge processes, which include the following:
- Help Center—Opens the M-Bridge documentation section in the Kantata OX Knowledge Base.
- Release Note—Opens the Kantata OX release notes page.
- Status—Opens the Kantata OX status page.
User
Under the User drop-down is the Email Settings page. Here you can select whether you want to receive email notifications if a scenario is deactivated due to a high error amount.
Account
Under the Account drop-down, Account Administrators can access the following pages:
-
Settings—Set the minimum Kantata OX account permission level that’s required for a team member to access M-Bridge.
Note: Team members below the Administrator level cannot view the Events, Logs, or Services pages. - Services—Add, edit, test, or remove a service from M-Bridge.
