Overview
Kantata's Intacct integration makes it possible for organizations to automatically sync project information between the two applications. Manage projects in Kantata and perform accounting functions in Intacct without having to import/export or manually enter data twice.

Getting Started
The Intacct integration requires the Intacct Web Services and Project module. To get started, please reach out to Customer Success or the Support team.
Intacct Scenarios
There are 7 pre-built scenarios available for this integration:
- Intacct Sales Document Payment to Mavenlink Payment—This scenario marks invoices in Kantata OX as paid by syncing paid sales documents data in Intacct.
- Intacct Vendor Bills to Mavenlink Expenses—This scenario creates expenses in Kantata OX from recently created or updated vendor bills in Intacct.
- Mavenlink Expense Report Submissions to Intacct Vendor Bills—This scenario creates vendor bills in Intacct from recently created or updated vendor expense report submissions in Kantata OX.
- Mavenlink Invoices to Intacct Sales Documents—This scenario creates sales documents in Intacct from invoices in Kantata OX.
- Mavenlink Projects to Intacct Projects—This scenario creates a new project in Intacct when a Kantata OX project reaches a specific status.
- Mavenlink Story to Intacct Task—This scenario transfers tasks in Kantata OX to Intacct tasks.
- Mavenlink Timesheets to Intacct Timesheets—This scenario creates a timesheet in Intacct when a timesheet is created and approved in Kantata OX.
Functional Capabilities
- Projects are pushed from Kantata to Intacct.
- New projects and updates to projects are pushed to Intacct.
- Intacct project updates are not pushed back to Kantata.
- Tasks in Kantata are pushed to Intacct when a project is created as well as updates to the project.
- Kantata project participants are pushed to Intacct as Project Resources.
- Approved timesheets in Kantata are pushed to Intacct.
- Rejection of previously approved time in Kantata removes the timesheet in Intacct.
- Approved expenses in Intacct are pushed to Kantata.
- Updates to expenses are not pushed to Kantata.
- Sales documents created in Intacct containing time or expense entries are pushed to Kantata.
Configuration Options
- Filter by Kantata project status.
- Filter by Kantata custom fields.
- Override Intacct location for projects.
- Override Intacct location for timesheets.
- Specify if the Kantata project or task is used to determine the billing type.
- Map Intacct Item ID to specific Kantata custom field.
- Associate time tracked in Kantata with a task to the role/item in Intacct.
- Schedule data sync between Kantata and Intacct.
