This recipe automatically sets a user’s custom workweek when a user custom field—which you specify—is updated.

Overview
Workweeks control the standard working days for members and have an impact on resource allocation, project scheduling, and time tracking. You may have user custom fields that group or categorize users by region, which may indicate the type of workweek that members should have. This recipe automatically sets a user’s custom workweek when a user custom field—which you specify—is updated.
After Importing the Recipe
Update the project property:

In the Projects section on the left-hand section of
the
home page, select the Catalog Imports project.
Note: If you moved a recipe to a different project, select that project instead.
- Select the Settings tab.
- Select the Project Properties subtab.

Select the Edit
catalog_user_custom_field_for_workweek_assignment
project property.

- For the Value, enter the ID of the user custom field that corresponds to custom workweeks. The recipe will check the values in this custom field when assigning a user a specific type of workweek.
- Select the Save icon.
Update the lookup table:
- In the top bar menu, select Lookup Tables.
- Select the Users: Custom Field Values to Custom Workweek lookup table.

You can populate the lookup table via CSV to quickly add entries:

You must have a CSV file with the following column names:
- Value
Note: The Value values are case sensitive. - Sunday Minutes
- Monday Minutes
- Tuesday Minutes
- Wednesday Minutes
- Thursday Minutes
- Friday Minutes
- Saturday Minutes
- Value
- Select Import CSV. The Import CSV modal opens.
- Select Add new entries.
- Drag and drop your file into the modal or click the upload from device link to select a file from your computer.
- Check Do not import the first row (header).
- Select Import CSV.

Alternatively, you can add entries manually:
- Select Add entry.
- For the Value column, enter the custom field value which corresponds to a custom workweek. This field is case sensitive.

For the Sunday Minutes,
Monday Minutes, Tuesday Minutes, Wednesday Minutes,
Thursday Minutes, Friday Minutes,
and Saturday Minutes columns, enter the time
in minutes (not hours) for that day (e.g.
480
minutes would indicate an 8 hour workday). The values must be whole numbers. If the user is not expected to work that day, enter0
for that day; do not leave it blank.
- Select the Save icon.
Once you finish configuring the project properties and lookup table, you can select Start recipe from the Assets list or Recipe Details page to allow the recipe to activate when a trigger event occurs.
