Overview
Available out-of-the-box as a standard reporting dashboard, this dynamic dashboard measures the efficiency of roles and users by comparing actual, scheduled, and allocated time against available time.
This dashboard is intended for resource managers, managers, and directors.
The following sections appear in this dashboard:
- Utilization Totals
- Utilization by Month
- Utilization by User
Utilization Totals
The Utilization Totals section includes the following key utilization metrics that are calculated through the selected period through today’s date:
- Actual Utilization—The utilization percentage of all users that fit the filtered criteria based on actual hours from time entries.
- Allocated Utilization—The utilization percentage of all users that fit the filtered criteria based on allocated hours assignments.
- Scheduled Utilization—The utilization percentage of all users that fit the filtered criteria based on scheduled hours assignments.
Utilization by Month
The Utilization by Month section includes two charts that show utilization information. The chart on the left shows the month-over-month trends of the different types of utilization, as well as a utilization target. The chart on the right shows utilization broken down by the default account roles.
You can drill into both charts to see more details on Utilization by Month. The chart on the left gives you an additional option to select that specific month and see a breakdown of utilization by role over that month.
Utilization by User
The Utilization by User section shows a monthly breakdown of utilization rates for each role (and each user within that role) that fits the filtered criteria. You can also see the variance from the target utilization.
