Projects: Portfolio

Overview

Available out-of-the-box as a standard reporting dashboard, this dynamic dashboard gathers key project metrics and information in one place (actual hours, actual fees, fees burn, etc.), letting you identify at a glance which projects are healthy and which are at risk.

This dashboard is intended for executives, portfolio owners, and project managers.

The following sections appear in this dashboard:

• Portfolio Totals
• Projects by Status
• Project Portfolio

Portfolio Totals

The Portfolio Totals section includes metrics for all selected projects, showing you the combined totals from these projects for actual fees and hours, project budget, and burn rate of fees, which is the percentage of fees in the budget (fees / budget).

Projects by Status

The Projects by Status section includes a breakdown of projects based on their current status. This visualization gives you a view of how your current projects are progressing and can help you identify where bottlenecks are in your project delivery, with the statuses assigned to many projects being larger than those assigned to few projects.

You can click any status in the tree graph to see detailed information for the projects with that specific status. This drill-in contains the same columns that are available for all projects in the Project Portfolio section below.

Project Portfolio

The Project Portfolio section shows you project details for all projects that fit your filtered criteria, including information like due dates, project statuses, actual hours and fees, project health statuses, and more!
