Set your number format, date format, and left navigation preferences for Insights.
Overview
In your Insights Settings, you can set the number format for classic and dynamic dashboards, set the date format for dynamic dashboards, and control the sections that appear for you in the Insights menu in the left navigation.
How to Set the Number and Date Format for Dynamic Dashboards
- Select Insights Settings from the user Settings drop-down menu in the upper-right corner of the main app bar.
- In the Number Format and Date Format for Dynamic Dashboards sections, select the option you prefer.
- Click Save.
The number and date formats are applied when you view dashboards or use the report editor. Refer to the following table for dashboard exports, report exports, and scheduled emails.

How to Show or Hide Sections in the Insights Left Navigation Menu
- Select Insights Settings from the user Settings drop-down menu in the upper-right corner of the main app bar.
- In the Left Navigation section, check the sections you want to appear in the Insights menu in the left navigation.
- Click Save.
Note: If you hide a section, you'll still be able to view the dashboards in that section via direct URL.
