Access Group Set: Guest Access

This access group set allows you to control what members can see and how they interact with projects without joining them.

Guest Access

This section allows you to control what information members see in projects for which they are not participating. These settings apply only to account members who have not been added, assigned, or invited to the project. This means that if a member has already joined a project, they cannot have Guest Access for that project.

Allow Guest Access On

This uses a project's Privacy settings to determine which projects are viewable for "guests". Options vary for accounts that have Organizations enabled; please see our Organizations Overview article for more information.

• Account Administrators Only—If checked, members of this access group have guest access on projects that are open to Account Administrators.
• All Account Members—Members of this access group have guest access on projects that are open to all account members.
• Account Members in their Organization (orgs only)—Members of this access group have guest access on projects that are open to all account members, but only projects within their organization.
• Account Members in any Organization (orgs only)—Members of this access group have guest access on projects that are open to all account members in any organization.

At This Project Permission

Select the amount of information that members of this group can access on projects where they are allowed as guests. Guest users can only view project information as permitted by one of the following Project Permission levels:

• View Financials—Members assigned to this access group can view projects at the View Financials permission level; this includes the Task Tracker, time entries, rates, budgets, invoices, and other financial information.
• View Time and Expenses—Members assigned to this access group can view what's available at the View Time and Expenses project permission level; this includes the project Task Tracker and entries on the project Time & Expenses tab.
• View Tasks—Members assigned to this access group can view what is available at the View Tasks project permission level; this includes the Activity tab and project Task Tracker.
