If Organizations is enabled for your account, the All projects checkbox is replaced with All projects accessible to their organization.
Overview
This access group set allows you to control who can manage named or unnamed resources, edit allocations, edit scheduled hours, and view resource recommendations. It also allows you to determine what members can see in the Resource Center.
View Resource Center
This section lets you control what users see in the Resource Center. If you have Project Permissions to schedule hours, any View selection will give you access to all information in the new Resourcing tab, while the specific restrictions outlined will be maintained in the Resource Center.
View in Projects Tab
In the Projects tab of the Resource Center, you can choose whether users can view:
- Projects where they have View Financials permissions or higher, including financial details for those projects, such as EAC, budget, etc.
- Projects they are participating in
- All projects or—if Organizations are enabled—all projects they can access via their organization
View in Team Members Tab
In the Team Members tab of the Resource Center, you can select whether users can view:
- Themselves
- All account members or—if Organizations are enabled—all account members in their organization
Edit Resources
This section lets you control what resources users can add, edit, and delete in the Resource Center. This includes available fields in the Resource side panel.
Edit Unnamed Resources
You can choose whether users have the ability to add, edit, or delete unnamed resources that are:
- In projects where they have Edit Financials permissions or higher
- In projects they are participating in
- In joinable projects and projects where they are project participants
- In all projects or—if Organizations are enabled—in all projects they can access via their organization
Edit Named Resources
You can choose whether users have the ability to add, edit, or delete named resources that are:
- In projects where they have Edit Financials permissions or higher
- In projects they are participating in
- In joinable projects and projects where they are project participants
- In all projects or—if Organizations are enabled—in all projects they can access via their organization
Edit Allocations
This section lets you control what types of allocations users can add, edit, and delete in the Resource Center.
Edit Unnamed Resources’ Allocations
You can choose whether users have the ability to add, edit, or delete allocations for unnamed resources that are:
- In projects where they have Edit Financials permissions or higher
- In projects they are participating in
- In joinable projects and projects where they are project participants
- In all projects or—if Organizations are enabled—in all projects they can access via their organization
Edit Named Resources’ Soft and Hard Allocations
You can choose whether users have the ability to add, edit, or delete soft and hard allocations for named resources that are:
- Their own allocations
- In projects where they have Edit Financials permissions or higher
- In projects they are participating in
- In joinable projects and projects where they are project participants
- In all projects or—if Organizations are enabled—in all projects they can access via their organization
Edit Named Resources’ Soft Allocations
You can choose whether users have the ability to add, edit, or delete only soft allocations for named resources that are:
- Their own allocations
- In projects where they have Edit Financials permissions or higher
- In projects they are participating in
- In joinable projects and projects where they are project participants
- In all projects or—if Organizations are enabled—in all projects they can access via their organization
Edit Task Hours
This section lets you control which users can add, edit, and delete scheduled hours and resource estimated hours in the Resource Center.
You can choose whether users have the ability to manage hours on tasks for:
- Themselves on any project they are participating in
- Themselves and others on any project they are participating in
- All team members on all projects, or—if Organizations is enabled—all team members on all projects that they can access within their organization
Submit Resource Requests
This section lets you control which users are able to submit Resource Requests using the Resource side panel.
You can choose whether users have the ability to submit resource requests that are:
- In projects where they have Edit Financials permissions or higher
- In all projects or—if Organizations are enabled—in all projects they can access via their organization
View Resource Recommendations
This section lets you control what Resource Recommendations users are able to see in the Resource Center.
You can choose whether users can view recommendations for all projects—or if Organizations are enabled— all projects they can access via their organization.
