Overview
After creating a view in the Task Tracker or Resource Center, you can set it as a Shared View so it can be shared and accessed by other account members. Using the same view keeps your team members on the same track as they’re viewing and managing information for different projects.
Shared Views also keep things standardized whenever you need to edit an existing view. For example, when one team member makes an edit to a Shared View, that edit will appear for all other team members automatically. This removes the need for every member to edit the view whenever a change is required.
Account Administrators can specify which account members can view or edit Shared Views by selecting specific permissions in the Shared Views Access Group set.
Certain columns in a Shared View may not be visible to all team members based on their project permissions. When this occurs, team members are informed of their limited access the first time they open the view.
If needed, an Account Administrator can remove a Shared View from the account. Doing this turns the view back into a personal Saved View and makes it accessible to only the Account Administrator who removed it as a Shared View.
