If an external project participant accesses projects using the account selector in the app bar, they should not have any issues.

Overview
The Project Access Access Group set allows you to more actively control which projects Account Administrators and members can interact with in your account, including both private and open projects.
Note: Because this feature was available on the Early Access page for a short period of time, you may or may not see this Access Group set in your account. If you would like to activate or deactivate this feature, reach out to Customer Success or contact the Support team.
Project Access
The Project Access access group set allows you to more actively control which projects Account Administrators and members can interact with in your account, including both private and open projects.
- View all projects—If checked, members can access all projects on the account, including projects that are only open to project administrators or by invitation only.
- View open projects—If checked, members can access all projects that are open to all account members.
