Mapping Salesforce Opportunity Stages to Project Statuses

Overview

Kantata OX's Salesforce integration allows you to map Opportunity stages in Salesforce to Kantata project statuses. 

How to Map Salesforce Opportunity Stages to Kantata OX Project Statuses

Please perform the following steps in the listed order to map the Opportunity stages to the project statuses:

1. Select the Salesforce Opportunity stages.
2. Enter the project status mappings.

Part 1: Select the Salesforce Opportunity Stages

1. Log in to Salesforce.
2. Select the Mavenlink Configuration tab. The Mavenlink Package Configuration page opens.
3. Select the Opportunity-Level Project Settings subtab and then click Edit. 
4. In the Project Creation section, select the Opportunity Stage Values you want to map.
   Note: To select more than one stage, hold down the Control key on your keyboard and click each desired option.
   Note: If there are fields already selected for stages of Opportunities with products/OLIs to create Kantata OX projects for, leave them selected.
5. Click Save.
6. Proceed to part 2.

Part 2: Enter The Project Status Mappings

1. In Salesforce, select the Mavenlink Configuration tab. The Mavenlink Package Configuration page opens.
2. Under the Integration Options subtab, Click Edit. 
3. In the Project Options (All Projects) section, enter the mappings in the Project Status Mappings box using the mapping format [Salesforce Opportunity Stage]=[Mavenlink Project Status ID].
4. Click Save. Opportunity stages in Salesforce now map to project statuses in Kantata OX.
