This access group set allows you to control which non-administrative members can submit time for others, or only submit their time.
Time Tracking
When time entries require approval at either the account level or the project level, this section lets you control who can submit time on behalf of other account members, or only submit their time entries. The Submit time for self box is automatically checked for members in these Account Default access groups, even if time entries do not require approval: Report Viewer with Cost, Report Viewer, Project Lead, Project Creator, Collaborator, and Punch Clock.
Note that this does not replace account or project permissions that allow you to view time, and does not change how users track time in Kantata.
- Submit time for all account members—If checked, non-administrative members of this group can submit time for anyone on the account, including their own time. This box is automatically checked for members of the Account Administrators default access group.
- Submit time for self—If checked, members of this group can submit time for themselves. This box is automatically checked for members in these Account Default access groups, even if time entries do not require approval: Report Viewer with Cost, Report Viewer, Project Lead, Project Creator, Collaborator, and Punch Clock.
