Project List Bulk Actions

Overview 

You can use bulk action options to perform specific actions on multiple projects at the same time, such as adding a member, setting a team lead, associating a group, setting a status, setting a project color, and archiving a project.

To access the Project List bulk actions, click Projects in the left navigation. Under the Project List tab, select one or more checkboxes in-line with the projects you want to perform a bulk action for. This will cause the bulk action drop-downs to appear at the bottom of the list.

How to Bulk Add Members

1. In the Project List, check the box to the left of each project you’d like to add a member to.
2. Click the Add Members drop-down and then select the member you want to add to the project.
   
3. Click Add. The members are added to the project and a success message appears in the top-right corner of the screen.
   Note: To view the results of the bulk action, click the View the results link to open the Results modal and view the Successes and/or Errors.

How to Bulk Set a Team Lead

1. In the Project List, check the box to the left of each project you’d like to set a team lead for.
2. Click the Set Team Lead drop-down and then select the member you want to set as the Team Lead. 
   
3. Click Add. The member is set as the Team Lead and a success message appears in the top-right corner of the screen.
   Note: To view the results of the bulk action, click the View the results link to open the Results modal and view the Successes and/or Errors.

How to Bulk Add to Groups

1. In the Project List, check the box to the left of each project you’d like to add to a group.
2. Click the Add to Groups drop-down and then select each group you want to add the projects to.
   
3. Click Add. The projects are added to the group and a success message appears in the top-right corner of the screen.
   Note: To view the results of the bulk action, click the View the results link to open the Results modal and view the Successes and/or Errors.

How to Bulk Set Status

1. In the Project List, check the box to the left of each project you’d like to set the status for.
2. Click the Set Status drop-down and select the desired status.
3. Click Add. The status is set and a success message appears in the top-right corner of the screen.
   Note: To view the results of the bulk action, click the View the results link to open the Results modal and view the Successes and/or Errors.

How to Bulk Set Project Color

1. In the Project List, check the box to the left of each project you’d like to set a project color for.
   Note: Project Colors need to first be enabled in the General Settings in order for this drop-down to appear. When Project Colors are disabled, colors will not appear in the Project List.
2. Click the Set Color drop-down and select the desired color.
   
3. Click Add. The Project Color is applied and a success message appears in the top-right corner of the screen.
   Note: To view the results of the bulk action, click the View the results link to open the Results modal and view the Successes and/or Errors.

How to Bulk Archive Projects

1. In the Project List, check the box to the left of each project you’d like to archive.
2. Click Archive. A confirmation modal appears asking if you’re sure you want to archive the selected projects.
   
3. Click OK. The projects are archived and a success message appears in the top-right corner of the screen.
