Overview
The Project Cards page is a collective view of all recent activity on project tasks. This view makes it easy to visualize which tasks belong to which project and whether there are upcoming or overdue tasks.
To get to the Project Cards page, click Projects in the left navigation bar and then click the Project Cards icon
under the Project List tab.Search, Filter, and Sort
You can use the Search, Filter, and Sort options at the top of the Project Cards page to narrow down the Project Cards list.
- Search—Search for a specific project by the project or task name.
- Projects and items with—Filter project participants individually or by project permission type.
- Sort By—Sort the project card list by projects that have been recently updated or recently viewed.
Open Tasks Bar
The Open Tasks bar shows a timeline of overdue tasks (less than 90 days overdue) and upcoming tasks (due within 14 days) across all projects.
Each task is represented by a Task Type icon:
- Tasks are items that need to be completed.
- Deliverables are items that need to be produced, such as documents.
- Milestones are dates that mark the completion of a phase or stage of a project.
- Issues are bugs or items that need to be resolved.
To view all project tasks in the global Tasks Tracker, click the Show All Items link to be redirected to the Global Task List page.
The number of overdue Tasks is located on the left side of the Open Tasks bar. To expand the Overdue Tasks list, click the overdue task icon
.To expand the task details, click the Task Type icon above a specific date. The task details show the project title, task title, task type, task status, and assignee for which the task belongs. If a task has been assigned more than one resource, you’ll see the word Multiple to the right of the task details.
There may be instances when more than one task type is due on the same day. For example, if a Deliverable and an Issue from two different projects are both due on June 24, you will see the details for each task type by clicking the due date.
Project Card
A Project Card shows a snapshot of recent project details, which may include:
- Project budget
- Recent project activity
- New / overdue invoices
- Upcoming tasks
- Task assignees
At the top of each project card is the Client Team Lead. If no Clients have been invited to the project, the Provider Team Lead will be displayed. To open the Team Lead's User Details side panel, click their name or profile picture.
Click the project title to open the Project Pulse side panel where you can view the Project Header, Details, Financial, Health, Custom Fields, and Organizations (if enabled).
Below the project title is a list of recent project activity and upcoming tasks. If there’s been a recent Budget or Date Change, you can click the corresponding link to go to either the Budget or Schedule tab in the Project Admin box.
Any recent invoices will appear in the recent activity list. You can view the invoice details (amount, due date, and the project participant who created it) or click the invoice number to be redirected to the Invoice page.
Archived Projects
At the bottom of the page is the Archived Projects section. Click Show all [#] to open a list of archived projects in your account.
You can click the title of an archived project to open the Project Pulse side panel, but you won’t be able to make any changes to the project unless you first unarchive it in the Task Tracker or project workspace.
