Overview
Unnamed resources serve as placeholder assignments when you know what roles need to complete work on a project, but you don’t know who will have the availability or skills to perform the work. Depending on your project permissions, you can add unnamed resources from various places in the project workspace, such as the Project Admin box in the Activity tab or the Rates & Roles page.
Note: You can also add unnamed resources from Resourcing areas, during project creation, or when applying a template. To add unnamed resources, you need permission via the Resource Management access group set.
