Kantata AI features simplify daily tasks, streamline operations, and help boost productivity—allowing you to focus on delivering successful projects and exceptional client experiences. Kantata AI features help you get quick answers, surface insights, and take action.
The following AI features are available:
Kantata AI features are controlled by Access Group permissions and limited to Project Administrators, allowing Account Administrators to finely control who has access to which AI features.
How to Activate Kantata AI
Before AI features are visible in Kantata OX, an Account Administrator must accept the terms and conditions and activate Kantata AI for the account.
- In the left navigation, hover over Settings, then select Kantata AI.
- Select Review Terms & Conditions.
- In the modal that opens, select Agree to the Terms and Activate AI.
Individual AI features can now be activated.
After Kantata AI is activated, an email will be sent to all Account Administrators, including a copy of the terms and conditions. You can also view the terms and conditions on the AI Settings page at any time.
How to Activate AI Features
- In the left navigation, hover over Settings, then select Kantata AI.
- Toggle the feature to On.
Preparing a Project for AI Features
For the best results, the following information should be available in the project:
- A concise project description that clearly outlines the project’s scope, identifies the clients, and details the project objectives.
- Task Tracker is up to date and reflects the actual status of the project.
- Relevant documents and deliverables have been uploaded to the project, to give Project Assistant more context about the project.
Meeting transcripts have been uploaded to the project, to help Project Assistant better understand the nuances of the project.
AI Assistant Privacy and Security FAQs
Do the AI Assistants leverage or share data with any third-parties?
The AI Assistants use OpenAI's language models and Assistants API to process data and generate insights. Data about your project is stored in OpenAI’s platform and used to answer questions about your project.
How does OpenAI keep our data safe?
The OpenAI API Platform has been audited and certified for SOC 2 Type 2 compliance. It has met specific standards for managing customer data based on five "trust service criteria": security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy. You can read more about this in the OpenAI Trust Portal.
Who has access to our data?
Access to business data stored on OpenAI systems is limited to (1) authorized OpenAI employees that require access for engineering support, investigating potential platform abuse, and legal compliance and (2) specialized third-party contractors who are bound by confidentiality and security obligations, solely to review for abuse and misuse. (3) A limited number of Kantata R&D employees have access to the platform that contains chat transcripts.
Will our data be used to train large language models (LLMs) used by other organizations?
No, your data will not be used to train LLMs used by other organizations. The data processed by the AI Project Assistant through OpenAI's API is used solely for generating responses for your specific needs and is not used for training purposes.
