Using Google Drive in Kantata OX

Overview

The Google Drive integration allows you to share Google Drive files anywhere you can make a post in the project workspace.

How to Share a Google Drive file in Kantata OX

1. In the left navigation, click Projects and then select the desired project on the Projects page. The project workspace opens. 
2. In the top section of the Activity tab, enter the post message in the Create new post box.
3. To make the post and attached file private, click the Private button in the top-left corner of the Post field and then select the team members that will have access.
4. Below the Post field, click Attach Google Files.
5. In the Select documents to attach window, click the file you want to attach to the post and then click Select.
   Note: To narrow down the results that appear in this window, you can use the search bar or select the My Drive, Shared with me, or Shared drives tab.
6. In the Attach Google Files modal, click the permission level drop-down and select the required permission for this file:
   • Can View
   • Can Comment
   • Can Edit
   
7. Click Done. 
8. Click Post. Your post and the attached files appear in the project Activity Feed.
   Note: All Google Drive files that you attach to a post can later be accessed in the Project Files tab.
