Apply an Organization to a Project

Overview

When using the Organizations functionality, your projects should be associated with a corresponding department and geography so you can properly capture data for Analytics reports.

How to Associate a Project with an Organization

1. Navigate to the Project you want.
   Note: You can also associate a project with an organization during project creation.
2. In the project header, select the Side Panel (“   ”) icon to open the Project side panel.
3. Select the Organizations tab to choose the organizations by department and/or geography.
   
   Note: Organizations only prevent members from voluntarily adding themselves to projects. Depending on your Privacy settings, members in a project are allowed to invite others to join the project, regardless of the organization(s) to which they belong.
4. Once you have finished adding organizations, you can indicate which is the primary organization for the project.
   
   
   Note: The primary organization option may not be available if Organizations was enabled for your account prior to July 6, 2020. If you’d like to enable this feature, contact Customer Success.
