Overview
Having multiple business or work email addresses is not uncommon and you can add them all to your account. You can set your primary and secondary email addresses in the Email Addresses section within Notification Settings.
Email Addresses
Within the Notification Settings page, use the radio buttons to specify your Primary email address, along with the address that's associated with Google (if different).
- To delete an email address, click Delete.
Note: You cannot delete your Primary email address.
- If an email address has already been Verified, you'll see an approval checkmark. Otherwise, click Add to have a verification email re-sent.
- Update Emails—Click this button to save changes to your email address(es).
- Add an Email—To add a new email address to your account, enter it in this field. When you are finished, click Add to send a verification email to this address.
How to Change Your Email Address
- Select Notification Settings from the user Settings drop-down menu on the right-hand side of the main app bar.
- In the Email Addresses section, enter your new address in the Add an email field.
- Click Add. A verification email is sent to the specified address.
- Find the verification email in your inbox and click the link provided in that email.
- Back in Notification Settings, use the radio button to set your new email address as Primary.
- Click Update Emails.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If you’re not receiving emails, make sure your Notification Settings are configured properly. Next, check your email Spam or Junk folders to verify your service provider isn't filtering the messages. In some cases, if your email is managed by a third party (such as Symantec) you’ll need to contact them to confirm that Kantata's email address is not blacklisted.
How to Verify Your Email Address
- Select Notification Settings from the user Settings drop-down menu on the right-hand side of the main app bar.
- In the Email Addresses section, find the email address that needs to be verified under the Verified? column.
- Click the Resend email link. A banner appears informing you that an email has been sent to the address that needs verification.
- Go to your email inbox and open the verification email.
Note: If you can't locate the verification email in your inbox, check your Spam or Junk folders to make sure your service provider isn't filtering the messages.
- In the email is a Verify your email button. Click this button to open Kantata and verify the email address.
- Return to your Notification Settings. A checkmark now appears under the Verified? column, meaning your email is now verified.
