Overview
Kantata OX is a powerful all-in-one software that provides advanced project management, resource planning, collaboration, and financial tools for services organizations to conduct business online. You may have received an email from Kantata (pulse@kantata.com) inviting you to respond to a survey regarding a specific project. This article explains what Pulse surveys are and how your responses help shape the outcome of the project.
Pulse Surveys
Kantata Pulse is an end-to-end sentiment tool within Kantata OX that helps organizations collect feedback from both clients and employees. The surveys typically take less than a minute to complete.
A project manager in Kantata configures the survey frequency, then adds you as a survey recipient. Depending on the survey types activated in the project, you’ll begin to receive the following surveys via email:
- Project Start survey—This is a survey sent one time, at the beginning of the project. This survey asks about alignment of goals, clarity of roles and objectives, and effectiveness of initial communication and collaboration.
- Recurring Date surveys—These are 3 question surveys sent on a regular basis to monitor project progress; assess collaboration, communication, and continued alignment of goals; and identify emerging issues. These can be sent from every week to up to every 8 weeks.
- Task Completion surveys—These are 3 question surveys sent when certain milestones are reached or deliverables are completed. These surveys are to reflect on the specific project phase or work that was recently completed.
- Project End survey—This is a survey sent at the end of the project to evaluate success, measure satisfaction, and reflect on the overall experience working with the project team.
At the end of each survey is a text response question. We encourage you to provide detailed feedback as this is sent directly to the project team.
How Your Answers Help Improve Project Outcomes
Your responses, as well as the responses from other clients and the internal team, are aggregated and visualized in graphs and data tables within Kantata. Project managers can monitor the results of each survey, how general sentiment is trending, and how each of the categories—happiness, confidence, and collaboration—are trending. Pulse survey results help project managers identify any disconnect between how clients and team members feel about the project, determine areas of improvement, and address emerging issues.
Project managers can also view your text responses, which helps them better understand sentiment in order to take specific action to improve the project strategy.
TIP
If you’d like to change how often you receive Pulse surveys, please reach out to the project team to start a discussion.
