Types of Proofs
Whether brochures, pamphlets, photographs, videos, or other assets, the Proofing Workspace supports a wide range of file formats, including:
- PDFs
- Text documents
- Photos and graphics
- Video and audio files
For a complete list, see our article on Supported File Formats for Proofing.
Page Navigation and Display Menu
Page navigation options appear when you have a multi-page asset. Use the up and down arrow icons provided, or type in the page number directly. You can also use the Page Up and Page Down keys on your keyboard.
Use the Display Menu
to choose how you want to view a document. ”)- Continuous Scrolling—Removes pagination, which can be useful if you need to scroll through a multi-page document.
- Single Page—View a multi-page document one page at a time.
- Two Pages—Lets you view pages side-by-side. This view is useful for assets like pamphlets and brochures.
- Show Cover Page—When viewing as Two Pages, it separates the cover page so it is viewable as a single page.
Note that when you publish a comment, the Display returns to Single Page view.
Feedback Panel
The Feedback panel is where you leave comments and select markup tools for text, image, and video annotations.
- Filter —Use to narrow down feedback, such as feedback from a specific member, or only feedback that has replies. You can also change how feedback is sorted, whether in descending or ascending order, or by member, replies, or by page.

- Publish—Make comments and notations public to others in the project.
If you are leaving feedback for a video, there are two additional elements in the Feedback panel: a timer, and the ability to span frames which lets you leave comments related to any 5-second interval within a frame. Selecting Span Frames is useful to note where you want a fade, or if there is an unintended interruption.
