Learn how to create Xero mappings in M-Bridge.

Overview
After you connect your M-Bridge account to Xero, you can create your mapping tables. There are four available mapping tables that are required for different Xero scenarios:
- Xero Accounts For Expense—This maps Kantata OX expense categories to Xero accounts. This mapping table is required for the Mavenlink Expense Reports to Xero Expense Claims and Mavenlink Expense Reports to Xero Vendor Bills scenarios.
- Xero Accounts For Invoice—This maps Kantata OX invoice line items to Xero accounts. This mapping table is required for the Mavenlink Invoices to Xero scenario.
- Xero Users—This maps Kantata OX users to Xero users. This mapping table is required for the Mavenlink Expense Reports to Xero Expense Claims scenario.
- Xero Vendor Contacts—This maps Kantata OX users to Xero contacts. This mapping table is required for the Expense Reports to Xero Vendor Bills scenario.
Note: If you create new mappings for an existing service, make sure you update the relevant scenarios to use the new mappings.
How to Create a Xero Mapping Set
Note: The Kantata OX and Xero field options on the new mapping set page will vary depending on which mapping set is selected.
- Log in to M-Bridge.
- On the homepage, locate the Xero card and then click Settings. The Scenarios page opens.
- On the right side of the page, click the Mappings drop-down menu and then select the desired mapping set. You’re redirected to the Xero Mappings page.
- In the top-right corner of the page, click New Mapping Set. The new mapping set page opens.
- Add a Name for the mapping set.
- Select a Service.
- Fill out any other required fields that may appear (e.g. Organization).
- Specify the mappings by selecting an item from the corresponding columns for each mapping pair.
- Mavenlink column—Contains the Kantata OX item.

External column—Contains the Xero item.Note: When you first click on a drop-down in the External column, it may take a few moments for the options to appear.
- If you’d like to remove a mapping pair from the set, click the Delete button to the right of the pair.
- To add any additional mapping pairs, click Add Mapping Pair at the bottom of the table and then fill out the new pair fields that appear.
- Click Submit. The mapping set is created and appears on the Mapping Sets page.
How to Import a Xero Mapping Set
Note: The Kantata OX and Xero field options on the new mapping set page will vary depending on which mapping set is selected.
- Log in to M-Bridge.
- On the homepage, locate the Xero card and then click Settings. The Scenarios page opens.
- On the right side of the page, click the Mappings drop-down menu and then select the desired mapping set. You’re redirected to the Xero Mappings page.
- In the top-right corner of the page, click Import Mapping Set. The Import Mapping Set page opens.
- Enter a Name and select a Service.
- Fill out any other required fields that may appear (e.g. Organization).
- Click Choose File and then follow your computer's prompts to select your CSV file.
- Click Import. Your mapping set imports and appears on the Mapping Sets page.
